The Septagram



The Septagram of Personalities is a model created by me, inspired by other models such as the Eneagram of personalities (9) or the OCEAN personality traits (5). These usually group types of personalities in a few categories, and I've usually found it helpful for creating groups of characters with contrasting personalities, however I noticed a lack of models that presented 7 groups (other than the 7 deadly sins and the 7 heavenly virtues). Luckily I found a way to actually expand those into more full fledged personalities:

Presenting the 7 classical planets. The classical definition of "planet" refered to the "wandering stars" or stars that move across the sky during the year. Of course these weren't all actual stars but different celestial bodies that could be seen with the naked eye since ancient times and were associated with gods.

Adittionally, each of them is also associated with 1 or 2 of the 12 zodiac signs.

Type 1: The Guide

Patience
The Sun represents the ego, self-expression and leadership. Leo's traits are confident, arrogant, and enjoying being the center of attention. Thus people in this personality type are the most extroverted, they are self-focused and drawn to leadership. They love attention from people and expressing themselves, and although they also may love bringing joy to others, they can also fall in the flaw of being self-absorbed.

Type 2: The Peacemaker

Kindness
The Moon represents emotion and subconscious. Cancer's traits are compassionate and nurturing while moody. People in this personality type are the most emotionally driven, they can be spiritual and adaptive and serve a supporting role to other people, however they are more introverted than the other types and value time alone to recharge, specially after social interactions.

Type 3: The Fighter

Mars represents energy, ambition, courage and physical strength. Aries and Scorpio share traits such as courage, determination or impulsiveness. People in this personality type are active and strong willed, they can be protective towards other people but on the other hand they can also be short tempered and impulsive, leading them to act before thinking and regret it afterwards.

Type 4: The Investigator

Mercury is associated with communication, learning, and logic. Gemini's traits are versatility and wit, and Virgo's traits are perfectionism and hard work. In combination, this personality type describes critical thinkers, they are seekers of knowledge and analize situations before acting which makes them prepared for anything. Their weakness is their constant need to improve or compare themselves to others.

Type 5: The Explorer

Charity
Jupiter represents things like optimism, exploration or philosophy. Sagittarius and Pisces share traits like being adventurous, creative and positive. People in this personality type seek new experiences and/or wisdom, and enjoy exploring about culture, art and ways to express themselves. They are generally compassionate but it's also possible they misunderstand social cues or lack a filter.

Type 6: The Careful

Venus is associated with harmony, confort and pleasure. Taurus and Libra relate to traits that iclude caution, patience, fairness and calmness. This personality type contains people who value balance and their confort zone, they may be indecisive, afraid to take risks or too stubborn to change, but they are still trustworthy people with a sense of justice, as well as valuing the finer things in life.

Type 7: The Spontaneous

Saturn is associated with responsibility and order, Capricorn's traits are ambitious and goal-oriented, Aquarius's traits are independent and progressive. People in this personality type are organized in their own way, which may look chaotic to an outsider, but they always have a plan or goal they won't giving up on, specially if it involves changing things for the better, they can be over-abitious or greedy though.
